This is probably of interest to the folks in this group who want to
run full-sized Linux distributions on the TS-7* boards with a minimum
of hassle.

I just ran accross the Handhelds Mojo project: "Our objective is make
available complete, standard desktop distributions for mobile and
embedded devices."

http://mojo.handhelds.org/

They basically re-compile all the packages in various Debian based
distributions on ARM boxes and create full binary and apt installable
distributions.

They've just released Frisky Firedrake, based on Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn
for ARMv5EL and ARMv6EL-VFP architectures (for the TS-7* boards we're
interested in the ARMv5EL port I believe for support of the ARM9xxx
processors).

Load up your SD card, plug it into your TS-7* board and you should
be good to go with a very up-to-date Linux distro without having to hassle
with cross-compiling.

I have no relation to the project, just ran across it when looking
through the sessions at the upcoming Embedded Linux conference
(embeddedlinuxconference.com) and thought it might be of interest here.
