i have attcehd the code of my serial program which works in com1 with the SIGIO

but the same program after changing the

#define MODEMDEVICE "/dev/ttyAM1"

for com2 it is not working

but it works in com2 without SIGIO

where could be the problem

my application needs a interrupt driven serial input so that my program can do some other work istead of polling the serial port

any help will be highly appreciated
