Hello,

I'am a newbie in Linux and I'am developing an image capture and
storage in SBC board application. I also have a problem on how to
install the spca5xx webcam driver for ARM TS-7200 kernel 2.4.26 ts9.
which the driver I've download from
http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html. referring to the readme install
file which came along in the driver folder, I dont understand the
first 3 line :- make (configure kernel)
                make dep
                make clean

it's state that for kernel 2.4. we have to configure the kernel and
'make dep'. Since you state that you already done this installation in
one of your webcam, can you give some guide regarding to the step that
I've to do? what do I need to configure in the kernel as state in the
readme file? or is it just simply follow exactly on the command line
given in the readme file then it works? Can you give some
documentation that you refer? I really appreciate it if you give me
feedback.

Regarding to your problem, I have a compiled driver for spca5xx
for ts11 version and it works fine in my friend webcam. You better try
that driver first. I can send it to your e-mail. Let me know if you
want it.

Regards,
Zafrie
