Both are empty:
 * cat /proc/bus/pci/devices
 * ls /sys/bus/pci/devices

I even fired up the regular TS 2.6.21-ts kernel and noticed it suffers from 
the same 'problem'.  Any suggestions are welcome.

I saw that the 'dead battery' message really means "you are not looking at 
the right address, unlucky...".  I added in the detection code from rtc7800.c 
to rtc-m48t86.c (hopefully correctly) so maybe this time I know when I hit 
the target.

Guess I should go back to hunting, but bed first I think.
