Yes, there is an FPGA on the board as well as a CPLD. The FPGA seems to handle all access to the NAND Flash and the SD slots. It also handles the PC104 bus and the additional serial ports and the RNG from the looks of things. The FPGA is a Lattice Logic ECP2 or some such. Yahoo!
