[ts-7000] compile program on board

hello,
how can i compile program on 7200 without cross compile. i am using
ubuntu 2.6 desktop (64bit). i already tried cross compile but getting
this problem

:/home/nasim/Desktop/linux-desktop/ppro#
arm-linux-gcc -o snifx snifx.c -lpcap
/usr/local/hybus-arm-linux-R1.1/arm-linux/lib/libpcap.so: could not
read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

pls give me feedback.
