Also in terms of a software solution you can use the utilities supplied by technologic to handle this. Use the --shutdown parameter on the bat3 charging daemon. This will detect power loss and issue a shutdown after the number of seconds specified. Then you modify the /etc/init.d/halt script to perform any cleanup before power down and as a last step call ups-monitor to initiate the power off. -Mike Van Orden Yahoo!
