Hi Dave,

 You're right.I am a bit confused.
Now I have stopped trying to use crosstool 0.28 to work for me. I
gave up on it.
Instead I gave myself a fresh start with the latest version available.
It was version 0.43 and i simply let it run.

The glibc and gcc version being utilised are :
gcc-4.1.0-glibc-2.3.2

Unfortunately I still had no success :(
The error it terminated with was :

P.S. : I searched google for hte same and found, to my dismay, that
many people havent been able to do it Ubuntu( I saw a thread regarding
crosstool on Ubuntuforums ).Should i be searching for alternative
methods for achieving my aim? Could you provide some alternatives?
