Hi,

I accidently erased /dev/mtd0 partition which seems to be the redboot
partition (using the flash_eraseall /dev/mtd0 command). However, I
have not yet rebooted by board. I was wondering if the following
approach will work (instead of going through SerialBlaster):
- Download readboot-7250-128mb2k-1.0.bin file on the board
- Run nandwrite /dev/mtd0 redboot-7250-128mb2k-1.0.bin

Is there a way to use the nandwrite utility to rewrite the redboot
image while the board is still running Linux -or- do I have to use the
SerialBlaster route ?

Also, in case of SerialBlaster, I read on of the posts that a patch is
required for NAND 2K flash. I could not find the patch. Can someone
help me with this ?

thanks,
-siddharth
