Hi Chris,
I agree with your assessment of what Bibhu is trying to do;
his questions show he is not familiar with FPGAs.
However, your comment that "FPGA's do not run C code ..." is
getting a bit grey. I attended a talk by Dave Pellerin at
ESC in San Jose, and it was pretty interesting to see what
the 'next big thing' in FPGAs is (according to him of course!);
the ability to write (carefully constructed) C-code and have
it compiled into HDL/RTL. There are two or three companies
actively looking into this field, eg. check out Dave
Pellerin's company ImpulseC, and his book:

That being said, I'm a hardened VHDL coder, and wouldn't consider
this technology anywhere near mature ;)
