Take a look at the "Updating/Recovering the bootloader kernel:" section in:

http://www.embeddedarm.com/Manuals/ts-7400-info.txt


Instead of updating the bootloader kernel, update the bootloader with:

$ insmod /ts7xxx_nand.o
$ cd /mnt/root
$ ./mtdcopy mbr-7400-1.00.dd 0 0


for example, where the bootloader file is mbr-7400-1.00.dd.


mtdcopy can be found in:

ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-linux-cd/binaries/ts-utils/
