I think you're right, Yan. Kevin sent me printer.o and I put on my
system. When I did plug in the cable/printer to the USB port I
(foolishly) expected to get a message about the printer. Instead I get:
"USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x50d/0x2) is not claimed by any active driver."
which seems to refer to the Belkin cable (USB-to-parallel converter).
As far as I can tell there are no Linux drivers for this. Does this
mean I need to find a USB-parallel that does have Linux drivers?
