Thanks , that kind of works around the problem but I still dont see
why it can find keybdev but not mousedev.
:input# modinfo ./mousedev.o
filename: ./mousedev.o
description: "Input driver to PS/2 or ImPS/2 device driver"
author: "Vojtech Pavlik <>"
license: "GPL"
parm: xres int, description "Horizontal screen resolution"
parm: yres int, description "Vertical screen resolution"
:input# ls /dev/input/mice
/dev/input/mice
That also answers my other question, it seems like it's only a PS2
driver anyway. It's not picking up any action on a device plugged
into /dev/ttyAM0
I get the feeling I'm looking straight past the problem here.
grep -i mouse .config does not show anything else apart from bus
mouse and non serial mouse drivers. So it must be called something
else, it's probably there already and I can't see the wood for the
trees.
