I'm sorry, but it's Firefox 2.06 on Ubuntu 7.04. Screenshot[1] to prove it.
Tcpdump told me, that a problem isn't even browser related:
GET /~michael/cgi-bin/load HTTP/1.1
HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
