Is it the latest version (debian-sarge-1.11.bz2) or something else?

Can you post the redboot command line you use to boot this CF image?

Sorry, no idea here. If there are only ts-10 modules shipped with a
ts-11 kernel, then that CF image is broken. Please check that you
have the latest version of the sarge image.

Well, what does your /etc/fstab contain? There should be a line
listing / as being on /dev/hda1. Look for a file /etc/fstab.cf, and
if it's reasonable, just rename it to /etc/fstab and reboot. See

'depmod -a' will generate a modules.dep file for you, but you should
not need to do that unless you (re)compile new modules.

Well, what does the syslog say?

If you have problems loading modules at boot time, I guess you are
missing some critical modules that mysql (and probably many other
programs) needs.

I'm sorry you are frustrated, but please realize that this is not a
general purpose linux distribution! The TS boards are small and
economical, but are also resource constrained, not i386, and need
some level of linux skill (especially for problem solving).
A very good way to develop your embedded system is to first get it
working on i386 (debian sarge for example), _then_ set up the same
stuff on the embedded arm system once things are working.
That said, however, I suspect most of your problems are caused by
not finding modules at boot time.
