I was refering to the ARM debian complete fs tarballs provided on the
TS site, not an x86 installation :roll:
These will contain suitable versions of the packages and aclaimedly
have a full working toolchain included.
I have some familiarity with apt but I dont seen how I can control
installing packages on a separte system that does not have apt.
I was wondering if there was a clean way to control dependancy and
package installation rather than just copying a few files across and
seeing what breaks.
I dont see the point in using a binary distro if you need to compile
everything. Especially when I have a "full" debian fs on the
workstation that I can mount trhough nfs.
Any tips?
