Hi Siddharth,

I fixed the typo that you found. Did you modify the .config at all
before compiling? I just tried that script again and I didn't run into
any issues.

You might want to try the toolchain on Yan Seiner's site. It's using
gcc-3.4.4, a slightly more recent glibc, etc. I'm not even sure if I
tried compiling the 2.6 kernel with TS's toolchain, but I might have
just started using the crosstool-0.38 package below right away.

http://www.seiner.com/ts7000/index.php/CrossCompileTools
http://www.seiner.com/ts7000/crosstool-0.38.tar.bz2

I hope that helps.
