It is a pretty new board. It has just stated to give this problem.

I have looked up the sources of the kernel and found the related 
definations you have mentioned. However, I don't have any experince 
on kernel compilation. But, even I can compile it I can't write 
anything to the on-board flash. So, since I can't load the kernel to 
the flash memory, I think it does not work for me.

It is not possible to reach the maximum write cycle for me. Because 
the board is actually new. I have programmed it not more than several 
hundred times. 

Any suggestion at this point is really important. Because the board 
is really locked. If I can change the boot sequence I will load the 
Debian to the CF and use it. But since the Redboot also resides in on-
board flash I can't do anything about this.
