Thanks all. Has no one ever risked excommunicating their hardware by adding a second CPU to their PC-104 stack? Peter - I forgot to say I need to count pulses on 8 lines. I think the XDIO can only count on pin 7. Kevin - I'd like to hear more about the kernel module you use to count. Did you write it yourself? Larry - I wish I was a hardware guy! Yahoo!
