Hello,
What is the proper way to update a TS7300 kernel? I'm trying to add the RTAI
system onto it.
I can install the cross compiler, add the patch, etc, and all--that all works..
but,
Someone posted on this list that I can edit the SD Card itself. That's fine and
dandy, but I
don't want to screw things up--do I follow a standard linux kernel
configuration/build?
If I do do the standard linux configuration/build, I do not see the standard
vmlinuz, etc, files
that standard linux has (which is no surprise, given that the TS series has
modified linux)
On a related note, I find it slightly odd that the manual shipped with the
TS7300 tells how to
update a TS7260 or lesser system, and the manual for the TS7400 has commands to
update
the kernel such as bootload that are not on the TS7300... sorry I'm a little
frusterated..
Thanks for any help
Nickolas
