My ignorance is manifest.

I succeeded in building a 2.6.18.8 kernel with the help of Daniel
Smolik's patchset http://arm.mydatex.cz/ARM_patch/, his config,
"Building Embedded Linux Systems" (O'Reilly), the crosstool script,
and a couple days of fooling around. I've scp'ed it to my ts7200's CF,
but I just realized I don't have a 2.6 compatible distribution with a
root filesystem and basic services to boot into. It goes into the
weeds when I try to use Debian Sarge, of course.

Now what do I do? With my 2.4 kernel I was nfs mounting Debian Sarge
as distributed from TS. Can anyone give me some hints as to how I go
about getting or building the equivalent for Etch?

Regards,
Jeff Cunningham
