I have been working on getting wireless working also.
I have a shuttle USB wireless as shipped by technologic which uses
the zd1211 chipset and also went out to buy a Airlink 101 Model:
AWLL3026 which uses the zd1211b chipset.
I have managed to get the Airlink functioning with (WEP with key) but
still have some issues with the 7400 freezing for no apparent reason
from time to time and have not got the WAP working yet.
I did the following to get it working:
1. Use the zdb.o driver for the AWLL3026, not the zd.o or zd_b.o.
you can download this from
ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/wireless/zd1211/r83/ts7400/
2. For some reason I had to use the following two commands to get the
Wireless to associate with the Access Point:
$ iwlist wlan0 scan
$ iwpriv wlan0 connect <Cell Number from iwlist resilts>
This is mentioned in the 1211 documentation: ftp://ftp.a-
link.com/wl54usb/v6.19.0.0/UserGuide_Linux.pdf
Hope this is helpful,
Ian.
