Hi everyone, I'm Playing around with my TS7250 board running NetBSD
4.99.20, and my TS7KV framebuffer.

I am trying to access the fb on the PC/104 bus from user space by simply
mmap:ing /dev/mem, following the board's [Linux] example code. This way,
I've been able to identify the board on the bus, load the FPGA bitmask
into the FPGA, ACK the loading, and activate the FPGA following closely
the loadts7kv.c example. It lights its green LED. :-) However, I get no
visible video output apart from a brief flicker before the screen goes
blank again, regardless of filling the framebuffer memory with RGB16
shorts.

Just checking -- is there any other initialisation I need to perform
before starting to bang the framebuffer memory and VIDCORE registers?
Trying to figure out if it's an EBSAC on my part, or a NetBSD /dev/mem
mapping issue. :-)

..on a side note:

BTW, is there any documentation on the TS7KV interrupt[0] and what the
misc. VIDCORE.BLTCTRL bits mean, other than the "Getting started" PDF? I
think I understand how the blitter works -- it seems pretty straight
forward -- but what's the function of e.g. the BLTCTRL raster page
committed bit? Do I need to wait on the "blit in progress" bit before
starting the next by issuing the next write to DSTBLT? The note mentions
the write will be stalled until the previous blit completes, but does it
work if I don't care about timing or do I NEED to poll?

[0] When does it interrupt? Blit complete? Vertical refresh only? Both?

Best regards,
ali:)
