Did you already solve the problem? If not, I would suggest a coding
system error (like UTF8/16 or ISO-8859-1 etc., my translation from
swedish may be a little strange there).
Since it's complaining about \233 and won't translate it to a letter it
might be some unknown character that got there by mistake and hence
is'nt visible normally. This sometimes happens to me. (quite annoying
bug actually. It seems like when I use UTF8 instead of ISO-8859-1 the
interpreter get's stuck in between the double byte letter and can't get
loose until i erase that whole line from the command prompt)
Anyway, rewriting the code might actually help. If it's you compiler
that can't handle your coding system (Cygwin might not be compiled with
support for your coding system) you might wan't to save your files in a
supported coding system likte UTF8 or something.
