Sorry I didn't reply earlier on this list, but sometimes the messages
seem to pile up.
I sent out a reply to you as well on the pwc list. The TS kernel
supports the pwc driver. Pwcx will not work unles you're using an x86
(as far as i know).
I've written several apps to read from a pwc camera too and have even
set them up to use threads for a producer / consumer networked image
server (simply sends the yuv420p frame one after another, upon request).
I also wrote a control thread to control the direction of the camera, as
well as a java applet to download display the image frames and send
control information to the control thread, quite similarly to 'OrbitView'.
Let me know if you'd like to check out some of the code and I'll send it
to you a link you can use to download it.
Most of it was written in an eclipse environment, so it's quite easy to
edit / run.
