Alsthough that bit about shmfs seems wrong...  

Shared memory != tmpfs

I remember there was a lot of flux with assorted virtual and temp file
systems and I may have put wrong info on there.  I think I need to
look at that again.

Or maybe someone more knowledgeable can annotate that?
