I'm using a TS-7250 to control some model railroad equipment with
commands over an Ethernet link. So far, the socket server and DIO
parts are working perfectly, and all I need to do is add code to
launch the application at startup, and mount the filesystem RO so it
isn't damaged when I shut off power.
Currently I telnet into the '7250, launch the application, then kill
it when done, and issue 'shutdown -h now' before unplugging the board.
I know I've seen Technologic documentation about "hardening" a system
by mounting the filesystem RO, but I can't seem to find it right now.
Does anyone have a link or general instructions? I assume it involves
modifying fstab.
Also, once I have the filesystem mounted RO, how do I change the
system back to mount it RW? That's the part that has me really stumped.
Thanks in advance for any advice and suggestions.
Mike
