Hello. I am having problems using the third com port on a 7260. (/dev/ttyTS0).
I need to open a serial port at 300 or 2400 baud for my application. It works
perfectly on
COM1 and COM2 (/dev/ttyAM0, /dev/ttyAM1) and on 5 or 6 7250's that I have used.
I can run /sbin/getty -L 2400 /dev/ttyTS0, and it works, but if I try to run
getty at 300 baud,
I don't get the login prompt. Getty at 115200 is fine; it just seems to be low
speeds that
don't work.
Is there something strange and limited about ttyTS0? (The answer YES doesn't
really help!)
My program opens the device and does the cfsetspeed and tcsettattr without
error, but using
an RS232 breakout box, does not seem to transmit anything at these speeds.
To be more specific, the 7260 does not have the TTL option or the 5-port option
- just 3
COM ports at RS232 levels. Running ts11.
Regards,
Martin
