Hello,
does anyone know maximum speed possible to output data on DIO port on
ts7400? (assuming use of DMA M2M controller)?

If this data rate is around 15MB/s, it should be possible to emulate
VGA  interface (640x480/50Hz) using simple 2 bit DAC's for RGB and 2
bits for HSYNC/VSYNC ...

Is this just another crazy idea ;-) ? Or is possible (and reasonably
simple) to implement?
