Ok. Give me a couple of days and I'll write up the procedure I
used. Then you can take a shot using my instructions and tell me
where your build is breaking.

This question is bound to come up again :)

Yep, thats likely the case. When you have a working system,
its hard to document all the possible problems. Its only
once a few people with different build environments post their
issues that a more complete description can be given.

What is your Linux machine architecture and OS?
Eg. x86 running Ubuntu, Red Hat, etc. Linux kernel version?
(uname -a).
