Yes... very big step in fact. TS has some pre-built kernels, but the ones they provided (at least at the time I built my kernel) did not work with the 7250 I purchased last year. Start with "Getting Started with RTAI on TS-7000" ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/rt/rtaiguide.pdf Ignore the parts about the pre-built kernels and go to "Building TS-Linux source" on page 4. The good news is that you can use all the TS-supplied patches to build your kernel.
