You have to read the manual very carefully.

The TS-7300 boots directly off the SD card ...
well, it bootstraps using the on-chip EEPROM, then boots
using the SD card.

RedBoot is not used.

The TS manual's could be a little clearer ... I banged
on the serial port a few times looking for the Redboot
prompt before I went back and read the manual again ...
