[ts-7000] mounting usb

Hi

 

I'm runnnig Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 ts7000 on TS7400 from SD Card.

I plugged 512 Kingston over 7to1 card reader to the top  USB port of the 7400 board.  

But I can't mount my usb disk to /mnt/removable.

 

When i type

:/# mount -t vfat /proc/bus/usb/001/003  /mnt/removable/
mount: unknown filesystem type 'vfat'

i get this error.

 

if i try

:/# mount  /proc/bus/usb/001/003  /mnt/removable/
mount: /proc/bus/usb/001/003 is not a block device (maybe try `-o loop'?)

 

there is no sda/sda1 in /dev ...

Quite often you can't telnet or ftp with a blank password and also common you can't telnet or ftp as root, so try setting a password first, failing that I think the file is /etc/securetty that sets up what users can login from where.

You need to upgrade the software on your TS-9441. You can find
