Hi all,
I have an TS-7200 board running debian on the CF card.
I cannot make the board communicate via the COM ports (neither the
COM1 nor the COM2).
For instance on COM2 I issue these commands:
echo "Hello world" > /dev/ttyAM1
cat < /dev/ttyAM1
but no success.
The COM2 port of the board is connected with a desktop computer by a
null-modem cable, on the desktop I run minicom. I send the commands to
the TS-7200 with a notebook via ssh.
I have tried to run minicom even on the TS-7200 and I noticed that
when I type some characters in the minicom running on the TS-7200 (via
the ssh) I see them on the other side of the serial connection (the
minicom running on the desktop). But when I type the characters on the
desktop I don't see them on the TS-7200 minicom, as it should be,
instead they are bounced back to the desktop and repeated twice on the
screen.
Anyone can help me to solve this problem?
Thank you
Sergio
