Hi,
Unless you specifically want an internally opto-isolated serial card,
I would go for an external RS232/422 isolated converter. Cheaper and
easier to replace. I've had good success with the Advantech ADAM4520
modules which do RS422 full duplex and also RS485 half duplex with
automatic transceiver enable/disable.

The only annoying thing with them is their power consumption (200mA
@12v I think) and the RS485 speed setting is an internal DIP switch.
