I will be glad to recommend project for you.
But with such difference in project difficulty
I need more information.

1.your skill level as a c programmer

2.skill level  an electronic technician eg soldering, wiring, chip
selection...

3.how many hours can you spend on the project? 

4. what is your budget?($50.00 -500.00)

5. what areas of interest do you have? (eg. weather station,security)

6. what type of test equipment do you have access to?(o'scope,DVM)...
