[ts-7000] TS-7260 SD Card Problems

So far I am unable to mount one of my own SD cards on my TS-7260. I
fdisked a 1GB Sandisk card and formatted it as ext2 on my Linux pc but
when I try to mount it on the 7260 I get the following error message:

"$ mount -t ext2 /dev/sdcard0/disc0/part1 /mnt
mount: Mounting /dev/sdcard0/disc0/part1 on /mnt failed: Invalid argument"

I noticed fdisk is included on the 7260's default onboard flash image
so I thought it might be a good idea to fdisk the card on the 7260.
When I choose the 'w' option in fdisk to write the partition table I
get the following error message:

"WARNING: Re-reading the partition table failed with error 22: Invalid
argument.
The kernel still uses the old table.
The new table will be used at the next reboot."

(This doesn't happen when I fdisk it on my Linux pc)

Next I decided to go get another SD card so I bought a Sandisk Ultra
II 1GB (just like TS ships with their development kits). I get the
exact same errors with this card as well.

The funny thing is that I am able to mount partitions 2 and 3 of the
512MB Sandisk Ultra II card that came with my TS-7400 development kit.

Has anybody experienced problems like these with the 7260?
