I've not been able to find any webcams with a real resolution above
640x480, and even that is a stretch.  (Figure out the bandwidth for
the video signal; it's a lot.)

I've given up on webcams for higher resolution; I built gphoto2 and
will be using a Canon digital camera to capture high resolution stills.
