Okay... I went ahead and downloaded and compiled the kernel source and
got the videodev.o file copied over, along with the ov51x.o driver and
it seems to be working.  It was painful, but not as bad as I expected
;-).  I'm using videodog to grab the images.

Also, does anyone know of any compatible webcams with 1 MP or higher
resolution, or how to capture stills at greater than 640x480 on the
ov511+?  In Windows I get the option of stills at 1024x768, although
I'm not sure that it's not just the software basically blowing up the
image.  I think it may work fine for what I need at 640x480, but
higher resolution would definately be nice.

BTW, I tried out Palantir, and although it won't work for what I need,
it was a very nice webcam server.
