I've played with that driver a bit....
The only way I got it to play nice with spcacat is to
rmmod spca5xx ; sleep 30 ; insmod spca5xx ; scapcat blah....
and do this every time you use spcacat. Something is not being reset
or initialized properly in that driver.
Otherwise it just locked my (other) embedded box. Mips architecture,
different messages, same problem.
