[ts-7000] ts-7300 problems

i have some problems my new ts-7300 board:

a) each time i boot i get the message
   "Type 'exit' for full boot - remove JP6 to make this the default"
   even i don't have any jumper in JP6

b) if i try to do an install with apt-get the system is freezing.
   i.e.:

   :root# apt-get -s install less
   Reading Package Lists... 99%

   it remains frozen here.
   will respond to "ping" but won't allow login and the serial console is
   quite dead.
   i've even try to enable swap space (my board has 64M DRAM) but nothing
   changed.

any hints? thanks.
