Hi Dave,

I'm using a Nagasaki LCM-104T-ALU which is a NEMA-4 (IP65) front
10.4" serial touch screen. Mine cost $520 which isn't bad for an
industrial display...

www.nagasakiipc.com (US Website)
http://www.nagasaki.com.tw/products/lcm/LCM_104T_Alu.htm

The US website does not list the NEMA-4 unit, but they can supply it.

I'm currently ordering another unit and getting the serial touch
screen via a DB-9 female connector rather than the captive cable that
is currently there (I will be getting a custom part number for future
purchases).

The TS-7300 in the new enclosure will mount very nicely on the back
of the unit (with some simple brackets) and does not cover any of the
display's ventilation holes.

I'm currently decoding the very simple serial data stream output by
the touch panel in user space by reading characters from the serial
data buffer and decoding the touch location.

Regards,

PJE
