Some 4 line LCD's have 2 HD44780 controllers (one for the top two
lines, one for the bottom two lines). These require 1 extra enable
pin (EN1 and EN2) to differentiate which controller you're actually
talking to. There isn't an extra pin on the LCD header though so to
use these LCD's you'll have to be a bit more clever.
Also, watch out for LCD's using 5V CMOS logic thresholds. The LCD
header is 5V tolerant, but it can't drive any line higher than 3.3V
which won't count as a '1' to 5V CMOS logic.
