Thanks for the first advice, I should have thought that. But I haven't
modified networking scripts after the board was put to service, the
ethernet port just stopped working. I tested the cable with another
board, and it was working fine. This really begins to look like a
hardware problem, I was just wondering, how the problem could be
isolated and maybe fixed.
