Subject: | [ts-7000] Slow boot time --> How can one speed up the booting process? |

I have a client that thought they would get "micro-controller" performance out of the ts7250 board -- or at least only a "few seconds" difference in terms of POR to when the device is ready to use. Needless to say, this is not the case. Are there any known tweaks that can be done to siginificantly reduce the boot time? Redboot seems to sit for a few seconds before doing anything -- beyond that it appears that it is mostly the kernel boot process. Does anyone know how to reduce this time? Yahoo!
