I hope someone can give me some advice....

I have successfully set up a cross-compile environemt, using the 0.28
crosstools from the website.

I have also set up a new file system using the file system in the
crosstools at crosstool-0.28/arm-linux/gcc-3.3.4-glibc-2.3.2/arm-linux.

I've successfully cross-compiled and installed busybox and booted the
system.

Now I'm trying to get the TS-7KV running.

I've successfully compiled the kernel and the modules. I can even
boot the system with the new kernel, except that I cannot for the life
of me figure out how to get the modules to install.

There is no depmod in busybox. Modutils 2.4.26 will not compile with
newer GCC versions, so I patched for that. They also will not compile
for newer flex versions, so I patched for that.... But now I am
getting "Error: cannot represent SWI relocation in this object file
format".... Apparently this is due to a header file mismatch somewhere...

Could someone please clue me in on how to compile and install the
kernel, using only cross-compile tools, with no native depmod on the
target?

Thanks,

--Yan
