I think their may be some problems with the serial_blaster, as it does not
setup all the appropriate hardware settings that ts-nandboot and ts-bootrom
do. Serial_blaster shifts these initializations to redboot. So you would need
to use the Serial_blaster version of redboot (the patch was included).
The flashing leds for the serial_blaster are well documented in the boot.S
source file.
Dissassembled source for ts-nandboot and ts-bootrom are also there if you need
to determine the meaning of the leds.
The 5-second reboot is likely do to the watchdog timer resetting the system.
Was you power failure due to a power spike? electrical storm?
I corrupted my nand flash from a power failure once.
