Thanx for the feedback.
I talked to the people at earthlcd. If there was a linux driver(they
don't have one), I could control every bit on the screen, but I should
be able to generate all the push buttons and messages that I would
need simply with commands through the serial port. It can also talk
through the USB port, if there is a linux driver for the USB chip
(CP2101). I haven't checked into that. I'll probably just go through
the RS-232 port for starters, as I will not need particularly high speed.
I think I'll get one of their development kits and see what happens.
This will be my first efforts with the 7200, so it should be
interesting. I hope I haven't taken too complex a project for starters.
