Subject: | [ts-7000] Anyone using TS72xx to read barcodes? |

I'm looking for a simple and inexpensive way to use the TS-7250 to read barcodes (it doesn't matter what type of barcode is used; simple is better). I need at least five non-contact scanners spread around a 25'x25' room, hopefully feeding a single TS-7250 board. When a barcode passes within the field of view of a scanner, it should send the information to the '7250. Is anyone doing something similar? Any suggestions on what type of equipment and interface to the '7250? I suppose the room size eliminates USB, since the cables would be too long. Are there really cheap barcode scanners with an Ethernet interface? That would be a great solution. Thanks in advance for any ideas. Mike ------ Mike Dodd - Montpelier, VA http://www.mdodd.com Yahoo!
