FYI I did not make the statement lightly about the
stock FC6 pwc mdoule not "working" correctly with my
webcam, therefore I would install and compile the
Saillard.org source instead. I tested the stock fc6
pwc driver and it trully did NOT support functions
which allow the LED to be shut off and on, therefore
it did not support my long-exposure mod to the
SPC900NC webcam. Once I removed the stock pwc, and
compiled/installed the Saillard.org latest snapshot,
that correctly supported those functions. There is a
definite difference.
BTW there was another thread about compiling pwc under
the 2.6.19 FC6 kernel update - has anyone gotten that
to work, and if so what did you change to make
compiling work?
